After four years of activity, the Cities2030 project is coming to an end. The initiative, which involved more than 40 partners from over 19 countries, aimed to make food systems more sustainable and resilient, in a context increasingly characterized by environmental and social pressures.
EPC S.r.l. played a central role in coordinating the project, managing partner activities and ensuring effective collaboration among the stakeholders involved. Operating in the food and natural resources sector, Cities2030 worked to help cities overcome the challenges of food system transformation, with a focus on long-term policies and strategies.

The project provided cities and local authorities with tools and guidelines to address the growing demand for food and ensure a safe and sustainable food system. EPC S.r.l., together with its partners, contributed to outlining concrete solutions to tackle these complex challenges.

But it doesn’t end here! After these four years of project, as EPC we want to continue working to increase the sustainability of local food systems, enhancing the skills acquired and the networks of relationships established thanks to the Cities project, both in Italy and abroad. For this reason we are currently engaged in writing an ERASMUS+ project that, if funded, will allow us to continue working on the theme of food through training, environmental education and skills transfer, with particular attention to the new generations.
