Cities2030 at Terra Madre!

An all-female delegation for Cities2030 at Terra Madre in Turin

EPC staff has joined representatives of the 5 H2020 “FOOD2030 Project Family” at Terra Madre in Turin, the largest international event dedicated to good, clean, fair food and to food policies, a unique opportunity to reach people committed to generate impact on food systems.  It has been an all-female delegation the one that represented the Italian partners of Cities2030!

More than 30 people from many EU countries have participated in a world cafè divided in groups where city representatives and other supporting partners could share the challenges faced and the innovative solutions they are developing and implementing with the different approaches and tools that each project is putting in place.

It has been a very inspiring morning spent in the amazing framework of the post-industrial area of Parco Dora. Beside the “Feed the cities” conference arena, the Education Island and the Advocacy Square, the Market has been the real heart of the event: an extraordinary showcase of good, clean and fair food in all its forms from across the world, which added colours, taste and fragrances to this great event organized by SlowFood and the City of Turin.
