Project and Financial Management for INDIALPS – Innovative and Sustainable Tourism Development in the Alpe Adria Region, as technical secretariat, providing assistance and coordination with partners in the implementation of project activities.
INDIALPS aims to improve the competitiveness and quality of life of the region in an innovative and long-term way through a cross-border exchange of skills, experience, and resources.
The idea of cooperative tourism is the basis of this project, which will be developed through:
- Analysis of visitor flows in the Dobratsch and Alpine Foothills Nature Parks, in order to improve the management of the two parks;
- A participatory exchange process involving stakeholders, responsible tourism organisations, and research institutes on topics such as nature, linguistic and cultural diversity;
- Four cross-border pilot actions on the topics of sustainable mobility, youth, sustainable tourism, and nature conservation, to put the results of the analysis directly into practice.
The lead partner of INDIALPS is the Dobratsch Nature Park; the project partners are Ente parco naturale delle Prealpi Giulie, Region Villach Tourismus GmbH, Università degli Studi di Padova, FH Kärnten – gemeinnützige Gesellschaft mbH, Consorzio di Promozione Turistica del Tarvisiano, di Sella Nevea e di passo Pramollo
