Kind of Service

Remote sensing and soil characterization service in the regional parks of Puglia. With the aim of investigating the impacts and spread of alien species within the BEST Interreg Grece – Italy project

Carrying out cognitive and spatial analysis of the presence of Xylella fastidiosa in the Mediterranean area. Furthermore, research and identification of six Natural Parks in the Apulian region. Analysis and verification activities of the impact of alien harmful organisms were carried out in these parks. Subsequently, a census was carried out of the spontaneous botanical species present in the area, identifying those susceptible to infection or at risk. The soil matrix was characterized through remote sensing techniques. Furthermore, the temporal evolution and spatial diffusion of the diseases was detected. What was produced was necessary for the preparation of guidelines for the presentation of eligible interventions in regional natural parks.

All activities were carried out by internal staff with their own equipment: UAS matrix 300 RTK – DJI ZENMUSE L1 drone, DJI MAVIC 3 Multispectral UAS, LEICA Scanstation C10 Laser Scanner and Geomax ZENITH10 GPS.
